I always thought I was a total couch potato whose ultimate goal is to lie around the sofa while watching TV without having to worry about monthly bills. Apparently, I was wrong. I love watching TV but I also love to keep myself busy — not doing work, doing my hobbies. Now, if you’re gonna ask me what my hobbies are, please do not hope for a definite answer because even I am not sure if I have a steady hobby other than reading. But wait, even that one also has not been consistent — with the reading slump and all.
I live in Japan, where I learned to do hiking and make matcha latte (currently on top of my routine). I have lived in Malaysia, where I learned to write blog posts in English. I grew up in Indonesia, where I learned how to pray and implement my values.
I tried being a podcaster, an MC for live performances, a corporate worker, a book writer, and now I am crafting my way to becoming an academic.
Life is never flat, so why should I have a constant hobby?
